Reporting to the President, the Vice President for Finance and Administrative Services (VPFAS) serves as a key advisor to the President and works collaboratively with her, the Board of Trustees, senior leadership, faculty, and staff to assure a successful and stable financial future for the College. The VPFAS provides leadership, vision and proactive financial planning in the development of initiatives that will optimize resources in support of the Collegeís mission and strategic priorities. Other Requirements: A bachelorís degree and leadership experience in financial management in a complex organization are required. A masterís degree in business, accounting management or a related field, experience in higher education, and a CPA or equivalent certification are preferred. Ideal candidates will have a track record of creative problem solving and experience leading change with demonstrated financial management success in higher education or a similar organizational setting. In addition, the successful candidate will possess experience with strategic planning, campus master planning and multi-year financial planning; expertise in developing and implementing comprehensive, multi-year capital and operating budgets; experience with a wide variety of financing techniques, financial forecasting and ratio analysis, business intelligence, policy analysis, data analysis, program evaluation and cost-benefit analysis; working knowledge or experience with investments, cash/treasury management and capital markets; and demonstrated ability to build trust and develop strong working relationships across the institution.
